Qatar to host global healthcare meet in October

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar will host the 32nd conference of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) from 4th to 7th October. The four day conference will be held under the theme 'Building Quality and Safety into the Healthcare System' at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
ISQua is a society which is at the forefront of inspiring, promoting and supporting continuous improvement in the quality and safety of healthcare worldwide.
This is the first time ISQua is holding its conference in the Middle East since 1996. It presents a valuable opportunity to bring over 1,500 international and local delegates together to network and learn from each others experiences.
ISQua is also known for its international accreditation programme. It is responsible for assessing the standards of organisations who set the benchmarks in healthcare safety and quality worldwide. ISQua is the only organisation which "accredits the accreditors".
This year's conference will have a number of prominent speakers from around the world who will enlighten the participants on various aspects of healthcare globally.
They include Lord Darzi of Denham, professor of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery & Cancer, Imperial College London; David Marx, CEO of Outcome Engenuity, Dallas, Texas; Rosemary Gibson, author "The Wall of Silence" and guest lecturer and Tom Nasca, chief executive officer, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
Educating is also a large part of ISQua, as it offers a unique fellowship programme, made up of learning activities, networking opportunities, skills development and education, through the world's largest network of quality in healthcare professionals.
The annual ISQua international conference is one of the leading international scientific meetings in quality and safety in healthcare.
