Youth jailed for possessing using hashish

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)A 24-year-old man has been sentenced to four years in jail for possessing and consuming hashish.
According to court records the Fujairah Police were tipped off that the suspect possessed hashish. On spotting the accused driving a police team signalled him to pull over. The police recovered the hashish from his vehicle. During interrogation he confessed he possessed the hashish for personal use. Lab tests revealed he consumed the drug. Salah Al Deberky
