(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri met here today with Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Brett McCormick.
They discussed the latest developments taking place in the Iraqi political arena.
al-Jabouri stressed that the Parliament is pressing ahead in the political reform process while McCormick pointed to his country's political and security support for Iraq in order to make it stand up and have a clear role in the Arab and regional surroundings.
