(MENAFN- Arab Times) President of the Kuwait Football Association Sheikh Talal Al-Fahad is constantly in touch with the heads of the GCC football associations to hold the 23rd Gulf Cup Tournament on schedule, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily added, an announcement in this respect is expected soon. According to sources the secretary- general of the GCC football associations or federations are expected to meet in Bahrain for a formal declaration about holding the event. The presidents of the federations will hold a meeting in October to formally adopt the new date.
