Qatar- KPMG names Abu Sharkh as new Country Senior Partner


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) KPMG in Qatar has appointed Ahmed Abu Sharkh (pictured) as its Country Senior Partner . Ahmed will manage the firm's Qatar operations as well as leading key client relationships and engagements.

Ahmed brings in over 28 years of experience in consulting and auditing large organizations from various industries including financial services, metals and mining, transport and logistics and the public sector.

He has recently worked as Head of Internal Audit Consulting Services in Russia and Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to this, he was the Country Managing Partner for a Big 4 firm in Latvia and has held senior consulting, audit and leadership roles throughout his career.

On the appointment, Managing Partner for KPMG in Qatar and Bahrain, Jamal Fakhro said; "Ahmed has had a strong and vibrant career and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.
