Nancy celebrates Suez Canal launch with new song

(MENAFN- Arab News) CAIRO: Egyptians went all out to celebrate the launch of the new $8 billion Suez Canal over the weekend and Lebanese singers Nicole Saba and Nancy Ajram were one of the first celebs to congratulate them.

In return the blond beauty's fans were sincerely thankful for the starlet's warm wishes reported Levant TV.
The 22-mile section of the Suez Canal took just over a year to build and the Egyptian government insists that 'it will help their moribund economy bounce back' according to Buzzfeed.
But the bigger surprise came from Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram who recorded and dedicated a special song to mark the happy occasion.
The Egyptian-themed 'Al Baraka' music video showcases Egyptians celebrating the Suez Canal by dancing and waving Egyptian flags much in the style of Hussain Al-Jasmi's 'Boshret Khair' (Good News).
