Roadside Bomb Kills Two Soldiers in Philippines


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Two soldiers were killed in a roadside bombing by suspected Islamist militants in the southern Philippines, the military said Saturday.

The soldiers were securing a road for the passage of a military convoy when the bomb exploded in Ungkaya Pukan town in Basilan province, 900 kilometres south of Manila, dpa reported.
