(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Palestinian government on Saturday said it would carry on with diplomatic and legal efforts to prosecute "Israeli criminals" in triumph for Palestinians' right in "life and freedom." The only way to stop the Israelis' crimes against the Palestinians is to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, government spokesman Ehab Besiso said in a statement.
The statement follows the death of Saad Dawabsheh, the father of a Palestinian toddler recently killed in a firebomb attack by Jewish extremists on their house house in Duma village, south Nablus.
The father was announced dead early Saturday of wounds sustained in the fire.
This is new evidence on the enormity of the Israelis' crimes, Besiso said.
According to the spokesman, up to 11,000 Israeli acts of aggression against Palestinians over the past decade have been documented, in addition to 20 mosques and five churches that were set on fire over the past five years.
Besiso renewed calls to the international community to provide protection for the Palestinian people against the Israeli repeated violations.
