Syria- Ten civilians killed by Syrian regime's bombings in Idlib


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Up to ten civilians were killed, among them two children, as a result of air bombings by the Syrian regime's air force over the country side of the province of Idlib, said a press statement issued on Saturday by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Moreover, regime helicopters dropped two explosive barrel bombs over several areas in the city of Ariha, killing reportedly one civilian and injuring many others, said the statement.
In the city of Maarat Al-Numan, renewed regime air bombings resulted in the killing of three women today.
Meanwhile intense fighting between regime forces and fighters from Islamic groups raged on in the Damascus countryside region, where the Syria Mubasher news agency said 15 regime soldiers were killed.
Furthermore, the city of Darya sustained extensive regime attacks by heavy artillery and barrel bombings directed at rebels situated there and carrying on the fight against regime forces, said the agency.
Also, tension continued in the city of Lathikiya where a regime rocket fell on the location of a building for a union for engineers, causing numerous injuries.
