Egyptian police kills suspect of Niger embassy attack, detains others


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Egyptian police killed one suspect of a recent armed attack on the embassy of Niger in Cairo, Interior Ministry announced on Saturday.
As part of a crackdown on terrorists, Egyptian police targeted a terrorist hideout in Giza, part of the greater Cairo metro area, the ministry said in a statement.
One terrorist opened fire on security forces, who responded by killing the terrorist and detaining several others.
On July 29, one policeman was killed and three others injured when unidentified assailants in a car opened fire at the embassy of Niger in Cairo.
