Oman exports 3.8mn MT of LNG in H1


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The sultanate's total exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) through Oman LNG and Qalhat LNG in at the first half of this year stood at 3.81mn metric tonnes (MT).

Of this 2.42mn MT was accounted for by Oman LNG and 1.39mn MT by Qalhat LNG according to the Ministry of Oil and Gas. 

Statistics published by the ministry show that a total of 60 consignments 39 by Oman LNG and 21 by Qalhat LNG were shipped to exporters. 

South Korea Japan and Spain were the main importers of Omani LNG.
