Gentrack Group lands contract from Australian utility

Gentrack Group (ASX:GTK NZX:GTK) has signed a contract to upgrade its Velocity software at an Australian utility.

The company will implement its latest billing and CRM solution to support the utility’s electricity gas and water utility products and services. It is expected to be completed in 2017. 
This follows its signing an agreement with a UK water utility in July to implement its Velocity Billing and CRM software.

GTK now expects to deliver EBITDA at the bottom end of its guidance range of between NZ$13 million and NZ$15.5 million for the year to 30th September 2015.

Total operating revenue for the half year ended 31st March 2015 was NZ$18.5 million with underlying EBITDA of NZ$5.5 million and NPAT of NZ$3.2 million.

This compares to revenue of NZ$17.9 million EBITDA of NZ$5.5 million and NPAT of NZ$2.4 million for the previous half year to 31st March 2014.

Shares in GTK last traded at $1.80.
