Qatar- Zekreet Road beautified with flowers, plants


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) In the past one month, the Parks Section of the Services Affairs Department of Umm Salal Municipality has planted 3,000 seedlings of soil-covering portulaca seasonal flowers and 200 dodonaea landscaping plants along Zekreet Road.

Also, 80,000 square metres of grass was trimmed in Nasser Al Attiyah Park, Al Kharittiyat Park, Kentucky Roundabout, Ahmed Bin Ali Street, Civil Defence and Arwa Mart and services were provided for citizens to trim 17 trees through the ministry's website and four applications through the section.

The section also conducted preventive spraying for 2,500 Sidr trees and used 4,900,000 gallons of water, including 4,200,000 gallons of treated water, to irrigate other trees.
