QA Privilege Club names winners of Five Million Miles campaign


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar Airways' (QA) Privilege Club has announced more than 51 winners of its Five Million Miles Campaign drawn recently.

The winners - all members of the club - were rewarded for purchasing long haul tickets from QA's global network, which entitled them to free entry into a draw to win one of 51 Qmile prizes.

The first winner, Hamad Al Naimi, received the grand prize of one million Qmiles presented by Ehab Amin, Senior Vice- President Commercial, Qatar, QA.

"QA Privilege Club Programme was aimed to provide members with the opportunity to receive fantastic rewards. With these additional Qmiles, the winners can further enjoy travelling with QA by redeeming flights at their leisure, from our growing network of 151 destinations.

"They can also benefit from Qmiles by exchanging them for upgrades, lounge access and shopping at Oryx Galleria, our store for them."

Five winners each received between 100,000-750,000 Qmiles and 45 were rewarded with 50,000 Qmiles each.

Membership of QA Frequent Flyer Programme includes Privilege Club Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, which offer benefits and services in accordance with oneworld tier equivalents.

Silver members can earn and redeem Q-miles on any oneworld member airlines, and Q-points towards their tier status on all eligible oneworld flights. They can also have access to Business Class priority check-in, preferred or pre-reserved seating and priority on standby flights.

Gold members receive all benefits of Silver plus access to Business Class lounges, priority boarding, extra baggage allowance and priority baggage handling.

Platinum members have all benefits of Gold, access to First Class lounges, First Class priority check-in and Fast Track security lanes.

The oneworld alliance includes airberlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, TAM Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas, Royal Jordanian, S7 Airlines and SriLankan Airlines.
