The Bulfinch Group’s Brilene Faherty wins 40 Under 40 award from Cape & Plymouth Business
ROCKLAND MA ISSUED AUGUST 3 2015…Brilene Faherty a Financial Specialist with The Bulfinch Group in Rockland has been named to the Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine’s “40 Under 40” list.
Faherty joins an elite group of professionals all under the age of 40 from the Southeastern part of Massachusetts to have been honored. The awards spotlight the region’s top young business leaders who excel in their industry and show dynamic leadership. This is the sixth year that the Cape & Plymouth Business 40 Under 40 Awards program has recognized the contributions of young professionals to the region.
Faherty was chosen from hundreds of nominees who according to Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine publisher Robert Viamari “best exemplify an entrepreneurial spirit commitment to community service and potential to positively contribute to the future of our region.”
Faherty wears a number of hats in her professional life. In addition to her work at The Bulfinch Group she serves as President of the Rockland MA Chamber of Commerce an affiliate of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as an Ambassador for the South Shore Chamber; additionally she is a member of the South Shore Workforce Investment Board (SSWIB) where she serves as Treasurer. Her community service also includes serving on the Board of Directors of the Quincy Lions Club Board of Directors on the nonprofit Vital Impact; and a member of the Advisory Board of the Quincy Chamber Millennials.
The Weymouth MA resident and Quincy native earned her Masters of Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She graduated Cum Laude from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English. She studied abroad in Florence Italy and was a member of the Political Science National Honor Society. She is also active in local fundraising efforts for various charities.
An avid fan of the outdoors Faherty spends her free time running and snow skiing. She also enjoys golfing following the progress of the New England Patriots and spending time with her Yellow Labrador.
