Dutch PostNL Q2 results solid, confirms full-year outlook


(MENAFN) Amsterdam-listed e-commerce firm PostNL announced its second-quarter results, showing solid performance during the period as the company confirmed its 2015 full-year outlook.

Revenue was stable at USD904.99 million in the April-June period, compared to USD908.28 million quarter-on-quarter. Meanwhile, underlying operating income increased to USD71.38 million in the period.

PostNL's net cash from operating and investing activities surged to USD62.6 million, up from USD4.3 million for the same quarter of 2014. Combined equity position improved to USD392 million.

"Overall, the second quarter performance further solidified the base for delivering the full year outlook. We reconfirm that the second half year will be better than last year," CEO said in a statement.
