Hospital run by Dubai based group hit in Syria attack


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)Orient Humanitarian a subsidiary of Dubai-based Ghassan Aboud Group has said that one of its surgical and outpatient hospitals in northern Syria was targeted by Assad regime rockets on Saturday.

The attack resulted in damages with no civilian casualties. The damaged hospital provided medical support free of charge to thousands of families in Idlib province.

Dr Ammar Martini Manager of Orient Humanitarian said: "Our field hospitals have a crucial role in providing health care for the Syrians affected in the ongoing conflict. Orient Hospitals are being deliberately targeted despite the fact that are functioning purely for humanitarian purpose."

This is the fifth target to this hospital the last attack being in May.

A physisician at the Orient Mutaz Abdul Kadi Talawi was also killed late last week in Northern Syria after his vehicle was targeted by a regime missile.
