UAE, US nonoil trade amounts to USD24b in 2014


(MENAFN) The UAE Ministry of Economy and the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce have held discussions to boost bilateral trade ties on healthy nonoil trade exchange, which came in at USD24 billion in 2014.

This came during a meeting between assistant under-secretary of the MoE for foreign trade, and vice-president of international business development at the National US Arab Chamber of Commerce.

The discussions tackled ways to enhance cooperation in organizing conferences and trade conventions, exchanging studies and promoting international events organized by the ministry.

The two representatives also discussed areas of cooperation with regards to small- and medium-sized companies as the chamber hosts more than 25,000 companies of its members.
