Etihad Airways appoints new GM for Korea
(MENAFN- Arab News) Etihad Airways the national airline of the UAE has appointed Jin-moon Ahn as GM for Korea based in Seoul.
Ahn will lead the Abu Dhabi-based airline's commercial strategy in South Korea and will be responsible for further strengthening Etihad Airways' partnerships with travel trade partners and corporate customers.
Ahn held a number of sales and marketing roles at Air France-KLM before joining Etihad Airways in 2010 as sales manager Korea the year Etihad Airways commenced daily flights between Seoul (Incheon) and Abu Dhabi bringing with him more than a decade of airline sales experience.
Daniel Barranger Etihad Airways' SVP global sales said: 'Ahn had made a significant contribution to the airline's commercial success in Korea since the start of its operations. His wealth of knowledge and experience will be instrumental in further expanding Etihad Airways' presence in the Korean market.'
Ahn said: 'I look forward to working with our industry partners corporate customers and codeshare partner airlines Korean Air and Asiana to enhance Etihad Airways' position in this market'
The GM for South Korea reports to Etihad Airways' regional vice president Asia Pacific North and Indian Subcontinent.
