(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Three fires were reported on Wednesday. A blaze in a Jiffnain scrapyard gutted goods worth thousands of rials.
The blaze began at around 2.30pm and destroyed used paper shells of vehicles gas cylinders and other scrap and caused sporadic blasts. Six fire engines took an hour to control the fire. In Wadi Kabir an accommodation of car garage workers caught fire at around 11am. There were no casualties. The third fire was reported in a building materials godown in Buraimi. The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances reported no casualties from this incident too
