Ropewalk OC invites the public for a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring former Governor Bob Ehrlich and the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce.
Ocean City MD – The press and public are invited to join the Greater Ocean City Maryland Chamber of Commerce for the Grand Opening celebration of Ropewalk OC 8203 Coastal Highway on Monday August 3rd. Governor Bob Ehrlich will join the owners to cut the ribbon in a ceremony that begins at 4 PM and features a complimentary appetizer buffet and happy hour drink specials until 6PM. There is no charge to attend.
The event will be held outdoors weather permitting at their extensive beach area that features palm trees bay views a children’s play area and a 300ft long boardwalk. Included will be entertainment by Pat O’Brennan sometimes known as the Chesapeake Troubadour performing songs about the bay as well as covers of popular US and Irish songs. Dueling Pianos will start at 10:30 PM that evening as well.
This latest Ropewalk location opened this Memorial Day and has gleaned large crowds and 5-star including this one from Patty Werthmann of South Riding VA who wrote “My new favorite spot! Love the food the steel drums and the crab’s legs!!”
