New Book Examines Iranian Reality

John Sutherland author of "iGuerilla: Reshaping the Face of War in the 21st Century" retired US Army Lt. Colonel with two tours in Iraq and Senior Operations Analyst explains as part of his expert analysis of the Islamist war culture the negotiating technique of the Iranians. In his posting Sutherland refers to 1979 when Ayatollah Khomeini negotiated with the Soviet backed Tudeh Communists and their socialist partners infidels all who sought to organize and launch the strikes and demonstrations that would unseat the Shah. The communists and socialists needing Khomeini and the Shia Clergy to attract the masses were willing to accept a role for Islam in the new government. Khomeini agreed but he had an Islamic victory in mind not a worker’s paradise. Victory secured the communists were arrested and executed.Kitman at work.
