(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter today denounced before the Senate Defense subversive the activities of Iran in the Middle East.
Ashton Carter told the Senate's defense committee, chaired by Senator John McCain, 'We will continue to stand by our allies to confront Iran's subversive activity,' stressing that the nuclear program agreement, which has been reached between Tehran and world powers, would not limit the US ability to use military force if necessary.
US Secretary of Defense said, 'We will keep a strong military position to prevent any aggression, and strengthen the security of our friends and allies in the region.'
