Kuwait- Passports Dept To Work In Two Shifts


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Director General of Citizenship and Passports Department Brigadier Yousef Al-Sanin has issued a decision to launch two work shifts (morning and evening) to manage the congestion being experienced in the department for issuance or renewal of passports of Kuwaiti citizens particularly due to the summer holidays, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources.

They revealed that the department receives almost 600 applications every day, indicating that two days are required to work on a passport. The sources said Director of Passports Department Captain Abdullah Al-Amohouj has instructed employees to issue passports of the citizens as soon as possible in case they are travelling for touristic or overseas medical purposes at their expenses or that of the state.
