Albania's goods exports hit USD190m in June


(MENAFN) According to the Albanian National Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), the country's exports of goods amounted to USD190 million in June, up 5.8 percent on-year, Xinhua reported.

Meanwhile, June's goods imports came at USD381.99 million, dropping 1.1 percent over June 2014 and increasing 10 percent compared to May 2015, the INSTAT data showed.

The country's trade deficit, meanwhile, amounted to USD194.89 million last month, marking a drop of 6.9 percent on an annual basis, but surging 23.3 percent from a month ago.

Trade with EU countries accounted for 67.6 percent of the total trade. The country's main trade partners are Italy (34.8 percent), Greece (7.6 percent), Turkey (5.8 percent) and China (5.4 percent).
