(MENAFN- QNA) Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received on Monday a telephone call from President of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which they addressed the close ties between the two countries.
During the telephone call, Turkey's President explained details of the military operations undertaken by the Turkish government against Daesh terrorist organization and the insistence of Turkey to confront and counter terrorism by all ways and means, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns the terrorist acts suffered by the Republic of Turkey and supports Turkey's right to defend itself and protect its citizens from terrorist acts.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques explained that the terrorist attacks suffered by Turkey confirmed that Daesh organization and other terrorist organizations pose a threat to peace and security of the region and the world, which must be eliminated.
During the phone call, they also reviewed the latest developments in the region and emphasized the excellent relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey and the promotion of mutual cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
