Qatar Participates in London's Eid Al Fitr Festival
(MENAFN- QNA) The Embassy of the State of Qatar took part in the annual festival held by the Mayor of London in Traflgar Square.
HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada attended the festival, along with 30,000 visitors. Charges D'Affairs Hamad Mohammed Hussein Ali Almuftah said that relations between Qatar and the UK exceed economic partnership as both countries have a joint interest in enhancing peace and stability world wide.
Deputy Mayor of London Roger Evans expressed his delight with Qatari embassy's support to the festival. He encouraged tourists to visit Traflgar square to get to know more about the cultures of the Islamic world.
Qatar's tent exhibited a number of things such as Arab caligraphy, pearl hunting as well as traditional Qatari clothings.
