(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Arab Foreign and Defense ministers will be meeting next month to approve the draft protocol for the formation of a joint Arab defence force for the implementation of a decision of the Arab summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt on March 29, 2015.
The Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League Ambassador Ahmed Ben Helli announced that the joint meeting of the Arab foreign and defense ministers will be held at the headquarters of the Arab League General Secretariat on August 27, 2015, reports QNA.
Ben Helli's remarks were made in a reply to journalists' questions on the scheduled date of the joint meeting, saying the date of the joint meeting was set after consultations between the Arab League General Secretariat and a number of Arab League member states.
