(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-based LuLu Group International announced buying the USD170 million Great Scotland Yard, the original home of London's Metropolitan Police, Arabian Business reported.
The transaction was made between LuLu and the British developer Galliard Homes for a price that is more than what has been initially asked for, which was USD155.01 million.
"Galliard Homes is delighted to have reached an agreement with Lulu Group International to create a bespoke five-star hotel in the heart of London's Whitehall," the managing director of Galliard Homes said.
