BMW ME sales surge 6 percent in H1


(MENAFN) The BMW Group posted a six percent increase in Middle East sales during the first half of this year, delivering 16,706 BMW and Mini vehicles in 12 markets, Khaleej Times reported.

The UAE remained the largest market, accounting for 59 percent of BMW Group Middle East's total sales.

Abu Dhabi again emerged the biggest seller with 6,962 cars sold, followed by Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates with 2,934 and Saudi Arabia with 2,243.

Other markets that maintained strong sales growth include Lebanon, up by 57 percent, Oman by 29 percent and Jordan by 18 percent.
