Indonesia's inflation edges up to 0.76 percent in July


(MENAFN) The Indonesian central bank estimated the country's July monthly inflation at 0.76 percent, rising from 0.54 percent in June, Xinhua reported.

The bank is optimistic about inflation being controlled within the range of the targeted 3-5 percent by the end of the year. The country's inflation from January to June stood at 0.96 percent.

"Based on our survey that at the third week (of July) inflation was at 0.76 percent (and) it will keep exist until the end of the month," the bank's governor said.
