Qatar- Timings extended for several health centres


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has extended working hours of several health centres, an Arabic daily reports.

Some health centres working in double shifts now have one shift from 7am to 11pm.

Health centres in Al Khor, Al Shamal and Al Wakrah will work from 7am to 11pm. Earlier, they were closed between 2pm and 4pm.

Following Eid Al Fitr holidays, primary healthcare centres resume working at regular shifts from tomorrow, with changes in timings of some centres.

Majority of health centres will be open from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 11pm, including Al Rayan, Madinat Khalifa, Al Muntazah, Mugolina, Abu Backar Al Sidiq, Omar bin Khatab, West Bay and Mesaimeer. However, the centre in Mesaimeer will be closed on Friday mornings.

The dental clinics at health centres will work from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm.

Some centres have the on-call system to attend to emergencies. The service is available at centres in Al Jameliya, Al Kahban, Al Guwiariya, Um Baab, Um Salal, Al Dhain, Al Mathar, Al Kharana, Al Gharafa, and Abu Nakla.
