Saudi lending institutions provide USD121.11b


(MENAFN) The government lending institutions, specialized in the provision of loans, said it provided USD121.11 billion since its inception until the end of 2014, Arab News reported.

The 51st report issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) also stated that the actual total disbursement of these institutions loans amounted to about USD15.4 billion, up 21.3 percent from 2013.

SAMA indicated that the loans repayment during the year 2014 amounted to USD4.93 billion, marking a drop of 29.7 percent compared to figures registered in 2013.
