Saudi- Internet International connectivity capacity in Kingdom quadruples in 4 years


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The international connectivity of the Internet capacity in the Kingdom in the year 2013 AD, reached 1321 Gbps compared to 318 gigabits/sec in 2010.

A report of performance indicators for the telecommunications sector and information technology at the end of the year 2014 issued by the Authority's Market Studies Management recently said that the international connectivity of the Internet capacity in the Kingdom, increased from 814.2 gigabits per second (Gbps) to 1321 Gbpsgigabits per second in last year 2014.

The report pointed out that the link capacity was in the year 2010, 318 Gbps, which refers to a doubling of the international connectivity of the Internet capacity in the Kingdom during the last four years to more than four times.
