(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At least 17 people were killed and over 30 others wounded in a suicide blast on Wednesday in Afghanistan's northern Faryab province, said officials.
Deputy district police chief Karim Yourush said some of the injured people are in critical condition.
The blast came at a time when Taliban rebels have paced up their attacks across Afghanistan following the offensive against the foreign and local security forces. (end)
