Pirelli Egypt, Social Fund for Development sign USD2.16m accord


(MENAFN) Pirelli Egypt and the Social Fund for Development signed a USD2.16 million accord to inaugurate new service centers for marketable and passenger tyres, Daily News Egypt reported.

The new service centers are to be operated by young businessmen who are to be trained by Pirelli and funded by the Social Fund. Specifically, Pirelli aims at opening 35 new service centers in Phase 1, which will be finalized next year, creating more than 200 employment opportunities.

The accord is set to enlarge the coverage of servicing covering isolated parts of Egypt, to provide amiable training for young entrepreneurs in the country, and last to help in reducing unemployment rates.
