500 trucks enter Gaza Strip through Karem Abu Salem


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Israeli occupation authorities have allowed the entry of 500 trucks loaded with goods for both the agricultural and commercial sectors into the Gaza Strip, according to a report carried by the Qatar News Agency, QNA.

Raed Fattouh, Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods into the Gaza Strip, said that the Israeli occupation authorities had begun allowing the trucks, including 43 loaded with construction materials for international projects and 150 loaded with gravel for infrastructure, into the Gaza Strip through the Karem Abu Salem crossing.

Karem Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing through which goods and fuel enter the Gaza Strip, and the occupation authorities close it on Friday and Saturday of each week.
