UAE's Shurooq to develop tourist attraction in Al Hisn


(MENAFN) Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is set to develop a new tourist attraction named Al Hisn Island, situated in Dibba Al Hisn, according to the Emirate's Ruler, Gulf News reported.

The new Island, which overlooks the Indian Ocean and was originally built as a housing area, will include a water canal, a host of restaurants and caf's, a movie theatre, and playgrounds for Children.

The new venture is now in the development and design phase, which will put emphasis over the characteristics of Islamic Andalusian designs inspired by Al Hamra palace.
