UAE's inflation rate reaches 4.2 percent in June


(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates' consumer inflation decreased to 4.2 percent in June, according to data issued by The United Arab Emirates National Bureau of Statistics, Reuters reported.

Housing and utility prices, which contributes in a major 39 percent of the inflation, increased by 10.2 percent when compared to the corresponding month last year, the data showed.

In addition, food and soft drink prices, which contributes in 14 percent of consumer expenses, increased by 1.4 percent in comparison with June last year.
