Qatar Condemns Attacks on Algerian Soldiers, Police


(MENAFN- QNA) The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the armed attacks which occurred in the province of Ain Defla in Algeria, killing nine soldiers, three police and injuring two others.

In a statement today, the Foreign Ministry stressed Qatar's solidarity with Algeria in confronting acts of violence that aimed at destabilizing security and terrorizing innocent people. The statement expressed Qatar's condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Algeria and to the families of the victims who were killed by this heinous crime.

It reiterated Qatar's firm stance of renouncing violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, whatever their motives and causes.
