Qatar- 19 injured in 3 road accidents


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Nineteen people have been injured in three separate road accidents since Sunday evening in and around Doha, it is learnt.

Sources told this newspaper that in a collision involving a bus carrying workers and two cars on Street 43 in the Industrial Area, 15 people sustained injuries, including the occupants of both the cars and the bus.

The vehicles were reported to have collided at a small intersection on the street. The accident took place around 1pm yesterday. It is not known if anyone suffered grievous injuries.

In another accident near the burial ground in Abu Hamour, one Sri Lankan expatriate sustained severe injuries when his vehicle overturned around 4am yesterday.

On Sunday night, three nationals were injured when their car was hit by another vehicle in Madinat Khalifa.
