Oman pavilion at Expo Milano to mark Renaissance Day on July 25


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman's pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 will hold Renaissance Day celebrations on July 25.

The government delegation to take part in the ceremony will be led by H E Dr Fuad bin Jaafar bin Mohammad al Sajwani Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries and  member of the Ministerial Committee for supervising and preparing for the sultanate's participation in the expo.

The delegation will also include H E Ahmed bin Nasser bin Hamad al Mehrzi Minister of Tourism Mohsen bin Khamis al Balushi Advisor in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Commissioner General of the sultanate's pavilion H E Dr Hamad bin Said al Oufi Undersecretary for Fisheries in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and deputy commissioner general of the pavilion H E  Mohammed bin Yousef al Zarafi Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of other government units.

The celebrations will include a traditional Omani show in addition to a speech by the head of the Omani delegation.

A reception will be also held in the presence of an Italian government official. Italian officials  the organising committee representatives of pavilions of other countries and diplomats will attend the reception.

During the reception the commissioner general and the Minister of Tourism will deliver speeches on the Tourism Week.

The reception will include an Omani fashion show a photography exhibition and a corner for Omani and Italian cuisines.
