Vietnam's trade eficit widens to USD3.07b in H1


(MENAFN) According to the latest report by Vietnam Customs, Vietnam saw a trade deficit of USD3.07 billion in the first half of 2015, Xinhua reported.

The figure is lower than the earlier estimation of USD3.75 billion by the country's General Statistics Office (GSO).

The report by Vietnam Customs showed that, in the six-month period, Vietnam's total trade revenue reached over USD158.6 billion, up 13 percent on-year.

Among which, the country earned USD77.77 billion from exports, up 9.3 percent on-year, while spending USD80.84 billion on imports, up 16.7 percent on-year.
