Saudi Jarir records USD41.30m net profit in Q2


(MENAFN) Jarir Marketing, the Saudi Arabian retailer, recorded a net profit of around USD41.30 million in the second quarter of the year, marking an increase of 14.6 percent year-on-year, Arab News reported.

The figure compares to the USD36.03 million logged for the corresponding period last year, according to a corporate statement issued by Jarir.

Nonetheless, seven analysts picked by Reuters had estimates that Jarir would make a net profit of around USD42.3 million for the second quarter.
