Qatar- Maid sentenced to 1 year jail for stealing mobile
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) An Indonesian maid has been convicted of stealing the mobile phone of her employer's son, local Arabic daily Arrayah has reported.
A Doha Criminal Court has sentenced the maid to one year in jail, which remains suspended over three years, according to the report.
The employer reported the matter to the police after discovering that the phone was missing and the maid was also absconding. Eventually, the maid was arrested and charged with theft.
