(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Twelve talented students from Qatari Universities have successfully completed an intensive summer internship programme at Aspire Zone Foundation. The students gained a wide variety of experience from working in a number of different departments at the Foundation in a programme that was specially developed for them by the HR department.
The programme offered the students the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of activities and sessions that were tailored to the subjects they are studying as well as their skills and particular interests. The programme enabled them to spend time in departments including finance and audit, architecture and civil engineering, HR and marketing.
The main purpose of the programme was to give students the opportunity to gain real experience of the workplace, to begin applying what they have learned through their studies in a professional setting, and to give them the right tools to accelerate the early stages of their careers after graduation.
