(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar Airways Cargo held its annual Ramadan celebration recently hosting a Sohour for its airfreight partners in Doha.

Freight forwarders and cargo general sales agents from across Doha came together for the third year to honour this special time of year and to enjoy the traditions and spirit of Ramadan including Arabian cuisine served in an elegantly decorated Ramadan tent.

The Qatar Airways Cargo Senior Management team, led by Chief Officer Cargo, Ulrich Ogiermann, welcomed more than 80 guests to the celebration. Ogiermann said: "Qatar Airways Cargo has a strong relationship with its aviation industry partners in Doha, who support the airfreight division of the national airline through its continual growth. It is always a pleasure to celebrate a Ramadan evening with our trusted partners, and it presents yet another opportunity to network and build upon existing relationships."

Guests were also given the opportunity to enter a prize draw and one lucky winner took home a pair of Qatar Airways tickets to fly anywhere in the airline's extensive global network choosing from one of more than 140 destinations.
