(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Mistal Oman recently announced the winner of its much-awaited Instagram photo contest the #IgersOman watches competition.
Faris bin Jamal Khodr was finally declared the lucky winner to walk away with the luxurious limited-edition Bomberg Bolt-68 timepiece.
The exotic timepiece has become a fashion statement among watch lovers and has a market value of RO495. The Bomberg Bolt-68 prize was sponsored exclusively by Mistal Oman. Mistal the luxury watch and jewellery boutique officially launched the one-month contest on May 7.
The one-of its-kind contest provided Instagram enthusiasts a chance to flaunt their wristwatches in the most creative manner to win the coveted piece of art. The #IgersOman contest which ended on June 7 created a huge upswing among Instagram followers who shared the attractively captured images of their watches in style.
The #IgersOman contest allowed users to click and share the image of their wristwatch in the most innovative style so as to capture the judges' attention. Participants were allowed to either make use of a fancy backdrop combined with an artistic design that exotically merges with the image of the wristwatch or use bold animations to the photograph itself.
The contest attracted numerous entries from all over Oman making the job of picking the winner a tough task for the judging panel. To have their entries valid Instagrammers had to follow @mistaloman and tag their pictures with a #MistalOman.
The contest allowed one Instagram user to post a maximum of 5 entries. Participants were also given the liberty to use 5 of their latest and fresh photos. Tags from private accounts remained invalid and were not featured.
Speaking about the contest Dharmesh A Khimji managing director Mistal Watches said 'We are glad that the contest has received a massive response with so many users from all over the country coming up with their creativity and skills. We have a highly active group of Instagrammers who regularly share images and contents of their watches.
Hence we launched this contest to provide them with an exclusive platform to share their passion for our creations.'
