 Government Plans IPO To Resolve Poultry Meat Shortage : The Qatari government plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) in 2015 to resolve the country's poultry meat shortage according to Hashem Aqeel al-Aqeel CEO of Investment House - a domestic bank advising on the project. The government intends to lease 5.7mn sq m of land to private investors for the development of a chicken farm. The farm supported by Qatari investors will have a production capacity of 45mn kilograms of chicken meat by 2018. According to al-Aqeel institutional investors have committed QAR750mn (USD206mn) to the project
