Al Maktoum Foundation completes distribution of 10,500 food packages in Egypt


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Al Maktoum Foundation has completed distribution of 10,500 food parcels, at a cost of over AED 500,000, in a number of Egyptian governorates.

The gesture is a donation of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and the patron of Al Maktoum Foundation.

The food packages include 20 Kg of basic food stuff purchased from Egypt's local markets. Dr. Salah Al Jafarawi, advisor to the Al Maktoum Foundation, said that the aid was in implementation of the directives of Sheikh Hamdan, and is aimed to deliver assistance to needy families. He added that Sheikh Hamdan directed that the aid should be distributed annually.

Al Jafarawi extended his and the beneficiaries thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Hamdan for his humanitarian gesture.
